Pricing starts from the return you actually have, not a count of forms. We confirm the scope and the fee before any work begins.

Tax-return pricing assumes complete, accurate, reconciled, tax-ready books. If the books need work first, that work is quoted separately and approved by you before it begins.

What makes a return more complex?

None of these things are problems. They just take more time, and time is what you're paying us for. Well, that and expertise.

  • Multiple states or local filing requirements
  • K-1s and pass-through entities
  • Rental property, basis, depreciation, or short-term rentals
  • Brokerage activity, equity compensation, crypto, or high-volume reporting
  • Business activity, amended returns, prior-year issues, or notices
  • Books that are incomplete, unreconciled, or not tax-ready
If your situation looks nothing like the list above, send it over anyway. We quote before we work, so the worst case is a conversation.

Business Tax Returns

S corporations, partnerships, and C corporations come with their own particular brand of fun.

Return preparation assumes complete, reconciled, tax-ready books. If the books need cleanup, reconciliation, opening-balance correction, transaction research, or other work before the return can be prepared accurately, that work is separate scope at $150 per hour and must be approved by you before it begins.

Entity return pricing

Starting prices for S corporation, partnership, and C corporation returns are being finalized. Each quote states what the base engagement includes: federal return, state return, owner K-1s, additional states, and any unusual allocations.

Bookkeeping that does not become a tax-season surprise

Monthly accounting should produce books you can rely on, not a folder of transactions someone plans to sort out next March.

Scope varies by business, so monthly accounting is quoted to the engagement rather than sold as a universal package. Payroll, sales tax, AP/AR, and job costing are included only when they are actually part of the engagement.

Project Work

Cleanup, catch-up, reconciliation, opening-balance correction, transaction research, and other work needed to make books tax-ready: $150 per hour, estimated and approved before it starts.

LLC formation, S-corp election analysis, projections, notice responses, and similar project work are quoted in advance as a flat fee.

On the S-corp question: whether the election makes sense depends on profit, a reasonable salary for your role, payroll cost, and your own filing picture. It is an analysis we scope separately, and we will tell you when the answer is no.

Remote and Multi-State Clients

Our office is in Brandon, and we work with clients who never come in. Documents move through an encrypted portal, signatures are electronic, and the engagement runs by phone and email.

Florida has no individual income tax, but a move during the year can still leave you with filing obligations in the state you left - and sometimes in other states tied to your income. If you moved this year, tell us early so we can sort out what actually applies.

Not sure which line you fall on?

Tell us what the business does, how messy the books are, and what you're trying to accomplish. We don't expect you to diagnose your own accounting problem before you're allowed to talk to an accountant.

Last year's return, access to the accounts the business runs on, and payroll records if you have employees are usually enough to quote the work accurately.
